This highly humane weapon uses regular table salt as its ammunition, so you will never run short of supplies. The salt is poured into a reservoir located above the barrel, and to load a lethal dose you use a classic pump-action fore-end, just like on real shotguns. Thanks to the reinforced spring, Bug-A-Salt is suitable for eliminating most commonly occurring insects.
The manufacturer has also paid attention to user safety – above the grip there is a manual safety, and the flip-up rear sight also serves as a loaded-chamber indicator.
