PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Ruger SR1911 Competition air pistol is a full-metal CO₂ model inspired by the competition version of the 1911 platform. The two-tone finish is complemented by functional features designed for fast handling, including a flared magazine well and a straight competition trigger.

Design and controls

The SR1911 Competition features a full-metal construction and Piranha-machined grip panels for a more secure hold. Distinctive features include a skeletonized Commander-style hammer and a skeletonized straight trigger blade, matching the pistol’s competition-inspired appearance.

The flared magazine well "magwell" makes it easier to guide the magazine into the grip. The slide and controls follow the layout of classic 1911 pistols.

A fixed front sight with a fibre-optic insert and a fully adjustable rear sight are used for aiming.

The pistol is equipped with the combination of two well-known 1911 platform features: a manual thumb safety and the characteristic grip safety.

CO₂ system and ammunition

Power is supplied by one standard 12g CO₂ capsule housed in the removable 19-round magazine. In addition to firing, the capsule also powers the well-known Blowback system, which simulates slide movement when firing, while the trigger operates in Single Action mode. The manufacturer states a total of 50 shots per CO₂ capsule.

Key advantages

  • Full-metal construction
  • Blowback system simulating slide movement
  • Straight skeletonized competition trigger
  • Adjustable sights with fibre-optic front sight
  • Magwell for easier magazine insertion
