The history of the American company Rite in the Rain began in 1916. Entrepreneur Jerry Darling realised that the timber industry needed durable paper that could be used for writing and survive the harsh elements.
After many attempts, he managed to create a home-made paper sheet with a special layer to protect against moisture. And so the world's first waterproof paper was created. Over the years, waterproofing was gradually improved and eventually patented.
More than a century later, this eco-friendly and recyclable paper is still being produced in the same place - the city of Tacoma, Washington. The goal is to provide innovative and quality products to professionals and people who love the outdoors.
