The scope is suitable for air rifles as well as rimfire and lower caliber firearms, where its versatile use will be appreciated.
The Vector Optics Veyron 2-8x32 IR SFP Compact MPR-V5 MIL model belongs to the category of compact rifle scopes that save space while maintaining a high-quality and clear image across the entire magnification range. The placement of the reticle in the second focal plane (SFP) guarantees an unchanging reticle size regardless of zoom level, which facilitates quick target acquisition and clarity during shooting.
The MPR-V5 reticle is designed for precise zeroing and for elevation and wind holdover estimations. Integrated reticle illumination allows comfortable use in low-light conditions. Brightness can be adjusted in 6 levels so that the reticle remains easily readable but does not overpower the target. This enables the scope to be used for evening shooting and against darker target backgrounds. Illumination is powered by a single CR2032 battery (not included).
The scope utilizes FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) multi-layer lens coatings that enhance light transmission and contrast. The image remains sharp across a wide field and is well readable even at higher magnifications. The nitrogen-purged 6061-T6 aluminum alloy construction provides IPX4 rating. This model can withstand 750 g (gravitational force units), equivalent to the recoil of firearms chambered in .223 and .308 calibers.
The elevation and windage turrets are set in 1/10 MIL units and can be locked against accidental rotation thanks to the Turret Lock feature. Diopter correction ±2D is standard. Parallax is fixed at 100 meters.
