Rifle Scope Arken EP-5 GENII 5-25x56 FFP VPR MOA

The Arken EP-5 GENII 5-25x56 FFP VPR MOA rifle scope is a model with 5-25x magnification, a 56 mm objective lens, a VPR reticle in MOA and MOA adjustment. The reticle is located in the first focal plane (FFP).

Optical system

Japanese J-XED glass and the upgraded GENII-generation optical system contribute to a clear image, contrast and reduced colour fringing across the magnification range. The larger eyepiece contributes to a more forgiving eyebox. Eye relief is 3.5 in / 88.9 mm.

Reticle

The VPR-MOA reticle offers reference points for holdover and wind correction without the need to adjust the adjustment turrets every time. The illuminated reticle is red and uses a CR2032 battery (not included). The first focal plane reticle (FFP) changes apparent size together with the target image, while its angular values remain preserved throughout the magnification range.

Adjustment and parallax

The MOA adjustment turrets have a value of 0.25 MOA per click. The elevation adjustment range is 100 MOA, the windage adjustment range is 48 MOA, and one revolution corresponds to 25 MOA. The Arken Zero Stop (AZS) system creates a mechanical stop for quick and repeatable return to the sighted-in zero. The turrets also allow resetting the zero mark. The parallax adjustment operates from 20 yds to infinity and reduces parallax error when aiming at targets at different distances.

Construction and durability

The aircraft-grade aluminium construction is complemented by a 34 mm tube. The rifle scope is rated by the manufacturer as resistant to .50 BMG recoil. The IP67 rating ensures resistance to water and dust. The rifle scope is nitrogen-filled to reduce fogging during temperature changes and high humidity.
