New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers The Arken EP-5 GENII 5-25x56 FFP VPR MIL rifle scope is a model with 5-25x magnification, a 56 mm objective lens, a VPR reticle in MIL and MIL adjustment. The reticle is positioned in the first focal plane (FFP).
Japanese J-XED glass and the upgraded GENII generation optical system contribute to a clear image, contrast and reduced colour fringing throughout the magnification range. Larger eyepiece contributes to a more forgiving eyebox. Eye relief is 3.5 in / 88.9 mm.
VPR-MIL reticle provides reference points for holdover and windage corrections without the need to adjust the elevation turrets every time. The illuminated reticle is red and uses a CR2032 battery (not included). First focal plane reticle (FFP) changes its apparent size together with the target image, while its angular values remain consistent throughout the magnification range.
MIL adjustment turrets have a value of 0.1 MIL per click. The elevation adjustment range is 28 MIL, the windage adjustment range is 12 MIL, and one revolution corresponds to 10 MIL. Arken Zero Stop (AZS) system creates a mechanical stop for a quick and repeatable return to the zeroed setting. The turrets also allow resetting of the zero mark. Parallax adjustment operates from 20 yds to infinity and reduces parallax error when aiming at targets at different distances.
Aircraft-grade aluminium construction is complemented by a 34 mm tube. The rifle scope is rated by the manufacturer as resistant to .50 BMG recoil. IP67 protection ensures resistance to water and dust. The rifle scope is nitrogen-filled to reduce fogging during temperature changes and high humidity.
