Lyra is a modern multi-shot PCP air rifle, characterized by an ambidextrous ergonomic walnut stock with a pistol grip and checkered surfaces in the grip areas. A sufficiently long cheekpiece and a rubber buttpad ensure a comfortable shoulder mount. For attaching a sling or bipod, there are two swivels on the stock and forend.
Accurate shooting is ensured by a 580 mm barrel ending in a standard 1/2 UNF thread for a sound moderator. The rifle uses a straight-pull bolt reloading mechanism with a magazine for 12 pellets. A fired pellet with an energy of 51 J reaches a muzzle velocity of 290 m/s.
The internal mechanism is powered by compressed air, which is supplied via the charging quickfill port and stored in a 280cc air cylinder with a maximum pressure of 200 Bar (2900 psi). The pressure level can be easily read on the analog pressure gauge.
Due to the absence of open sights, the air rifle must be equipped with an optic, for which a top mounting rail weaver 22 mm is provided.
Protection against unintentional discharge is provided by a manual safety located directly in the trigger area. Four ways of trigger adjustment (first stage, second stage, trigger shoe position, and pull weight) allow maximum customization of trigger operation for every shooter.
