Reximex Daystar makes a solid impression at first glance, mainly thanks to its nicely crafted stock made of dark wood. A major advantage of the stock is the possibility of adjusting the cheekpiece height and the presence of sling/bipod studs (on the fore-end and at the end of the stock) for a bipod or sling. In the grip areas, the stock is covered with a coarse texture, which provides stable support for the hands, which is very practical when shooting for longer periods. At the very end of the stock there is a rubber buttpad.
A straight-pull cocking lever is used for reloading. When the lever is pulled back, the magazine is rotated, and when the lever is pushed forward, the pellet is inserted into the chamber. The internal mechanism is powered by a 260 ccm air cylinder with a working pressure of 250 Bar. The supplied quick coupler is used for filling the cylinder.
The blued barrel is fitted with a recoil compensator, which allows for more consistent shooting. The compensator is screwed onto a 1/2 UNF thread, so it can be easily replaced with a moderator with the same thread. Since this model is not equipped with open sights, it is necessary to purchase a suitable optic, for which a combination mounting rail 11 mm/22 mm is provided.
The muzzle energy of this model is adjustable from 10 J to 45 J.
