Reximex Daystar gives a solid impression at first sight, mainly thanks to the nicely crafted stock made of dark wood. A major advantage of the stock is the possibility of adjusting the cheekpiece height and the presence of sling swivel studs (on the fore-end and at the end of the stock) for a bipod or sling. In the grip areas, the stock is covered with a coarse texture, which provides a stable support for the hands, which is very practical when shooting for a longer period of time. At the very end of the stock there is a rubber butt pad.
A straight-pull cocking lever is used for reloading. When the lever is pulled back, the magazine rotates, and when pushed forward, the pellet is inserted into the chamber. The internal mechanism is powered by a 260 ccm air cylinder with a working pressure of 250 Bar. The supplied quick coupler is used for filling the cylinder.
The blued barrel is fitted with a recoil compensator, which allows for greater shot consistency. The compensator is screwed on a 1/2 UNF thread, so it can be easily replaced with a moderator with the same thread. Since this model is not equipped with open sights, a suitable optic must be purchased; for this purpose, a combined 11 mm / 22 mm mounting rail is provided here.
