Spring air rifles are simple to use. Just cock the rifle, insert a pellet, release the safety and shoot. Even a child can handle it. The biggest advantage of spring-powered air rifles is their low price. You don’t need much equipment to start shooting. A tin of pellets and a cleaning kit is enough. Those who want to shoot at longer distances will also go for a riflescope.

I got this gun with synthetic stock, so I wouldn't have to be too concerned about scratching a beautiful wooden stock.
Being a Cometa. the gun is modestly priced and the build quality is very good. The cocking effort is light and using JSB Exact 8.44 the gun is very accurate.
One little nitpick was the burring on the edge of the slot in which the barrel breaks. This was too sharp to my likings and I smoothed this with a deburring knife. Also the trigger has a little creep in the second stage, but you get used to it.
All in all this is a very nice gun and as I can't give it 4,5 stars, I reward it with the full 5 stars. At this price point, it's too good to get only 4.
