These bombs can be replaced in rifles with small 12g with adapter. This saves money on the big one, which is relatively expensive and offers more shots. However, it has been my experience that the accuracy of the gun is worse with the small bomblet, specifically in the SIG Sauer MCX there is a lot of scatter and probably less power. The Umarex 850 M2 rifle has an adapter for at least two small ones, so it is accurate enough, but I assume the power will also be less. With the Umarex HDX68 shotgun, the adapter is only for one and that's not enough.
