Replica Walther PPK, Germany 1931

Decorative replica of the Walther PPK pistol, based on the compact German semi-automatic pistol from the first half of the 20th century. It is made of metal with a black finish and features black plastic grip panels. Suitable for collecting and decorative purposes.

Replica design

The metal construction is complemented by plastic grip panels. The replica features a moving mechanism simulating the operation of the firearm: it can be cocked, and pressing the trigger produces a mechanical click. The magazine is removable.

Historical original

The original Walther PPK was introduced in 1931 as a smaller version of the Walther PP pistol. The PPK designation stands for Polizei Pistole Kriminalmodell and refers to its intended use by criminal police and for plainclothes service. Historical pistols were manufactured in .22 Long Rifle, 7.65 mm Browning and 9 mm Browning Short calibres; during the Second World War, they were also used by German armed forces and police units.
