PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Decorative replica of the Walther P38, Germany 1938 pistol is based on a German service pistol from the Second World War period. It is intended for collectors and decorative use.
Replica design
The replica’s metal body is complemented by black plastic grip panels. The magazine is fixed and cannot be removed.
The moving mechanism simulates cocking and firing: the slide can be cocked, and pulling the trigger produces a clicking sound.
Historical original
The Walther P38 was a semi-automatic pistol developed by Carl Walther GmbH as a replacement for the more mechanically complex Luger P08 pistol. The Wehrmacht adopted it into service in 1938, and it began to be issued to units from 1940. Historical pistols used 9 mm Parabellum cartridges and were manufactured during the Second World War by Walther, Mauser and Spreewerk.
