Replica STEN Mark II, Great Britain 1940 is a decorative model of a British submachine gun from the Second World War period. The metal body in a black finish captures the characteristic silhouette of the weapon with a side-mounted magazine.

Replica design

The replica is made of metal. It is equipped with a movable mechanism simulating the operation of the weapon; the bolt can be cocked without ammunition, and the mechanism clicks when the trigger is pressed.

The magazine is removable, and the replica can be partially disassembled. The individual movable parts serve exclusively to imitate the handling of the historical original.

Historical original

STEN Mk II was a British 9 mm submachine gun used by British and Commonwealth forces during the Second World War. It featured a simple construction made of pressed metal parts and welded components, enabling inexpensive mass production. Thanks to the possibility of quick disassembly, it was also used by members of the British Special Operations Executive during covert operations.
