Bunney Pocket Pistol, England, 18th Century is a decorative replica of a small English flintlock pistol based on an original from London. Metal parts with a grey finish are complemented by an imitation wood grip.

Moving lock mechanism simulates the operation of the weapon: it can be cocked and produces a characteristic click when the trigger is pulled.

Historical original

The original is a pocket flintlock pistol manufactured by the London company Bunney around 1770. Small flintlock pistols were intended for personal carry in the 18th century; during the second half of this century, London became one of Europe's important centres of gunsmithing production.
