M1 Garand Replica, USA is a decorative version of an American semi-automatic rifle from the Second World War period. It combines wooden and metal parts and retains the characteristic layout of the original.

Replica Design

The stock and fore-end are made of wood, while the structural and external parts of the rifle are metal. The replica is supplied without a sling.

It is equipped with a moving mechanism simulating loading and firing: it can be cocked, and when the trigger is pressed, the mechanism clicks. It is not a functional firearm.

Historical Original

The actual M1 Garand rifle was designed by John C. Garand; the US Army adopted it on 9 January 1936 as the U.S. Rifle, Caliber .30, M1. It was a gas-operated semi-automatic rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, using an eight-round ammunition clip. The M1 Garand served the US armed forces during the Second World War and the Korean War before being replaced by the M14 rifle in 1957.
