PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Confederate, USA 1860 – grey decorative replica revolver by Denix represents a Griswold & Gunnison firearm from the American Civil War era. It is made of metal and wood, with a grey finish on the metal parts and wooden grip panels.
The replica has a rotating cylinder and a moving mechanism that simulates the operation of the firearm. It can be cocked, and the mechanism clicks when the trigger is pulled. Caps can also be inserted into the replica to simulate the sound of gunfire.
The historical original is the Griswold & Gunnison percussion revolver, manufactured in Georgia between 1862–1864 for Confederate soldiers. It was based on the Colt 1851 Navy and featured a six-shot cylinder in .36 calibre.
Warning: This is a decorative replica firearm intended for collecting and decorative purposes. The replica cannot fire and does not have the mechanisms required to discharge a shot. It is not a deactivated firearm – the product was not originally a functional firearm that was subsequently deactivated.
