PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The decorative replica of the Colt Peacemaker 5½", USA 1873 revolver is based on the American single-shot revolver known as the Single Action Army. It is intended for collecting and decorative purposes.
Replica construction
The replica's metal body is complemented by wooden grip panels. The surface has a matt nickel finish.
The moving mechanism simulates cocking and firing when the trigger is pulled. The cylinder rotates and can hold decorative cartridge cases (not included).
Historical original
The Colt Single Action Army was introduced in 1873 and used by the US Army as a service revolver. Historical examples were produced with barrels measuring 4.75, 5.5 and 7.5 inches; a twelve-inch Buntline Special version also existed. The original was offered in several calibres, with .45 Colt among the best known.
Warning: This is a decorative replica firearm intended for collecting and decorative purposes. The replica cannot fire and does not have the mechanisms required to fire. It is not a deactivated firearm – the product was not originally a functioning firearm that was subsequently deactivated.
