Replica design

Metal construction is complemented by black plastic grips. The replica features a simulated loading and firing mechanism; it can be cocked and produces a mechanical click when the trigger is pulled.

Disassemblable design allows the slide to be removed and the barrel to be taken out. The magazine is removable, and the safety controls are functional.

Historical original

Colt M1911 was designed by John M. Browning and adopted into service by the United States Armed Forces in 1911. Post-war design modifications of the original model resulted in the M1911A1 designation. The historical pistol used the .45 ACP cartridge and served American units during both the First and Second World Wars, and later also in Korea and Vietnam.
