They are also popular for airsoft and other shooting sports. A major disadvantage of flashlights mounted on the barrel of long guns is the control, which is too far away. However, this problem can be solved with the remote switch Fenix AER-03.
The switch is compatible only with flashlights Fenix TK16, Fenix TK20R, Fenix TK25 IR, Fenix TK25 R&B, Fenix TK26R or Fenix TK32,
You only need to unscrew the tail cap from your flashlight and replace it with the tail cap with the remote switch. The cable with a length of 24 to 80 cm gives you sufficient reach to mount the switch closer to your fingers. You attach the switch to the weapon with hook-and-loop (Velcro) fastener. For constant-on activation of the flashlight you now just press the small round button. A half-press will already activate the flashlight. The use of the flat pressure switch varies depending on the flashlight model. On the TK16 and TK25 models it works as a mode switch when the light is on, and from the off state it activates the strobe. On the TK32 model it switches modes when the light is on and from the off state it turns on the red mode. Subsequent presses then switch between red and green light. On the TK20R model the pressure switch does not work.
