The Vector Optics reflex sight Frenzy 1X17X24 3MOA RD MOJ is an open red dot sight with 1x magnification that offers a fine 3 MOA red dot, a wide 24×17 mm window and 10 brightness settings including 2 night modes. It is powered by a CR2032 battery with a specified runtime of up to 50,000 hours, and mounting is via the MOJ footprint and the supplied Weaver adapter.

Optical system

The open reflex sight uses a window measuring 24×17 mm, which provides a clear field of view for fast target acquisition. The aiming point is a 3 MOA red dot, suitable for more precise aiming at medium distances. There are 8 daytime and 2 night brightness settings, allowing the dot to be adapted to different light conditions. Power is supplied by a CR2032 battery (not included) with a declared runtime of up to 50,000 hours, depending on the selected brightness and method of use.

Construction

The body and mount are made of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a Matte Black finish that reduces reflections. The sight has an IPX6 rating, making it resistant to heavy rain and splashing water. The operating temperature range is -20 to +55 °C, which covers typical conditions for sport shooting as well as hunting. The sight is also suitable for firearms in calibres 9mm, .223, 5.56mm, .308, 12GA and Lapua Magnum .338.

Mounting system

The model uses a pistol MOJ footprint, which corresponds to the common RMR standard, making it compatible with the appropriate mounting plates. The package also includes a Weaver mounting adapter, which allows attachment to Weaver or Picatinny rails on long guns. This makes it easy to use the reflex sight on both handguns and long guns, depending on the chosen mount.
