The advantage of the Li-Ion battery is its high capacity; moreover, it almost does not suffer from self-discharge or memory effect.
This battery is equipped with protection against over-discharge, short circuit, overheating, and high current draw. If the electronic protection of the battery reaches its limit values, the cell is safely disconnected. When charging, connect the USB cable to the side connector; the indicator lights red while charging and blue when fully charged. Service life is more than 500 charging cycles.
Note: due to its dimensions it may not fit some older flashlight models – for example Fenix PD31, TK11, TK21, TK30 and it is also not compatible with the Fenix FD65 and Fenix TK47 models.
