PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The high-performance Keeppower RCR123A (16340) rechargeable battery with a capacity of 800 mAh is based on Li-Ion technology. Compared to standard competitors, the battery offers 15% higher capacity while maintaining the same dimensions. It is therefore very well suited as a rechargeable power source for high-output flashlights. Thanks to the lithium-ion nature of the cell, you do not have to worry about memory effect or sudden self-discharge.
The battery has two protection levels. The first is an electronic protection circuit located on the negative pole of the battery. This clever little circuit prevents overcharging of the battery (which could cause an explosion and damage to the device), as well as complete discharge (the cell could then no longer be recharged). The circuit also limits excessive current draw and short circuits. The second level protects against overheating and includes a special anti-explosion vent.
