Rechargeable Fenix 18650 battery is based on top-quality Panasonic cells and equipped with improved LiNiCoO2 technology, which guarantees higher safety and a longer service life.
The battery is characterized by a very high capacity, and it also does not suffer from memory effect or self-discharge. Thanks to its optimal size and low weight, it is the best choice for handheld flashlights or headlamps.
Inside the battery there is a whole range of safety mechanisms, such as protection against overcharging, excessive discharging, short circuit, or excessively high current draw. If the limit values are exceeded, the mechanism automatically disconnects the cell. Very practical is also the mechanical protection with an anti-explosion valve, which prevents overheating and the build-up of high pressure. In case the limit values are exceeded, it automatically stops the exothermic reaction.
This rechargeable version may not fit certain older models, such as PD31, TK11, TK21 or TK30.
