The Fenix 18650 rechargeable battery is based on Panasonic's premium cells and equipped with improved LiNiCoO2 technology, which ensures greater safety and longer life.
The battery is characterized by a very high capacity and it does not suffer from memory effect or self-discharge. Its optimal size and light weight make it the best choice for handheld flashlights or headlamps.
Inside the battery there are a number of safety mechanisms, such as protection against overcharging, over-discharge, short circuit or over-current. If the limit values are exceeded, the mechanism automatically disconnects the cell. Also very practical is the mechanical protection with an anti-blast valve, which prevents overheating and high pressure. If the limit values are exceeded, it automatically interrupts the exothermic reaction.
This version doesn't fit some older Fenix models such as PD31, TK11, TK21 or TK30.
