Its ultra lightweight polymer body with a non-slip surface weighs only 258 g, so it can be easily carried hanging around the neck or on the belt. The perfectly sealed surface effectively protects the internal electronics against water and dust.
A crystal-clear image in all conditions is provided by the Vortex HD optical system, which is protected by a multi-layer XR coating. Anti-reflective coatings ensure high light transmission and brightness even in low light. The HD optics themselves offer exceptional resolution, effectively reduce chromatic aberration and provide accurate colour reproduction and edge-to-edge image sharpness. In addition, every lens is covered with the ultra-tough ArmourTek layer.
The measurement result is projected onto a TOLED display, which is optimised for use in poor light conditions. For dark targets, the optics feature high-contrast red illumination. Thanks to the wide field of view, we can observe moving objects even at maximum magnification (x7).
The objective lens with a diameter of 25 mm has a field of view of 6° and its minimum measurable distance is 5 m.
The device is operated using two buttons, which are used to switch the unit on or display the settings menu.
The power source is a single CR123 battery with a life of up to 4000 individual measurements.
