If you want to produce mouse squeaks, simply cover the opposite end of the call with your hand. When you decide to make wounded hare sounds, just cover the hole on the body of the call with your finger. With these sounds you will attract not only foxes, but all kinds of predators.
You should also pay attention to how strongly you blow into the call. At first it is better to start with quieter sounds, because you never know how close the predator might be. If the predator does not appear after some time, you can increase the volume.
