Presslug Form is produced in the Czech Republic with the help of high-tech CNC technologies. This mold comes with a lifetime warranty.
This model is made from the best possible materials to assure maximum reliability and flawless function. The mold is made from the EN AW 7075 aluminium alloy with red anodized finish. The sprue plate was created from TOOLOX 44 steel and the rest of this tool from INOX 1.4301 stainless steel.
The molding of the lead casts is really straightforward. It is important to know the basic safety precautions concerning the work with lead.
You have to pre-heat the mold and make sure it is properly closed. Then you can pour the molten lead into the cavities and cut any excess lead by moving the sprue lever to the right position. You can then open the mold and let the freshly made casts fall out on the soft cloth (you can use an old towel for example).
The casts will have a diameter of 5 mm and you can use them to make .22 caliber (5,5 mm) slugs.
