Night Vision Riflescopes and Sights
State-of-the-art digital Pard scope with new SONY OLED display, laser
rangefinder with a range of 600 m, and E-compass.
PARD NV008 is an incredibly powerful and compact digital day & night riflescope. During the day the image is in colour and at night it switches to black and white mode. Recognition distance at night is more than 300 m. The powerful 850nm IR illuminator can be adjusted in three intensity levels and also via zoom. Wild boar and other game harmful to hunting do not react to this illumination. An excellent aid is the laser pointer, which is perfect for tracking wounded game.
A sharp image is guaranteed by the SONY OLED display with a resolution of 1024x768px. With OLED displays, image quality is increased by the fact that each pixel lights up (or goes dark) individually. This means a huge increase in contrast, which we particularly “enjoy” when observing in the dark.
The basic magnification of the scope is 6.5x, digitally up to 13x. PARD features a special picture-in-picture PIP function. In the magnified section at the top of the display, you get a very sharp 26x digital zoom, which is excellent for identifying more distant objects.
As a power source you can use not only a Li-Ion battery 3.7V 18650 (protected or unprotected), but also a 5V power bank via the Micro-USB charging port. In addition, PARD also has a micro HDMI output. We strongly advise against charging unprotected batteries directly in the device; this is only possible with protected batteries.
PARD NV008P can record Full HD video at 1920x1080px and 30 fps (mp4 format). In addition, it allows you to take photos with a resolution of 5 Mpx (2608x1944px). Both can be recorded on a Micro-SD/TF card with a capacity of up to 32 GB. The device also has Wi-Fi (2.4 Ghz, 802.11 b/g/n), which allows you to watch videos directly on your smart device, for example on your mobile phone.
Zeroing the scope is really simple. Thanks to the FREEZE function, you only need to place the first shot into the target, which is made easier by the laser pointer, and then move the crosshair coordinates from the centre of the target to the point of impact. You can choose from several reticles (full and half crosshairs) in red or yellow. An advantage is the memory for 5 weapons, so you can use the scope on multiple rifles without having to re-zero it every time. You will also appreciate the Czech menu.
