We may be dealing with an entry-level model, but you will definitely be pleasantly surprised by the modern design and construction from quality materials, which meets protection rating IP68 and keeps the weight under 880 g. Just like with professional models, you can disassemble this detector and carry it in a small carry pouch.
Everything important during searching is shown on the LCD display, where you can monitor the target depth indicator or the battery charge level. Detected targets are classified into three categories with colour and audio identification: ferrous metals – red colour, low tone; non‑ferrous metals – green colour, low tone; and small objects – yellow colour, high tone. Precise pinpointing is enabled by the pinpoint function.
You can set the volume of the tone emitted by the device to two levels – the current setting is shown by an icon on the display.
For transmitting the signal, the detector uses an 18 cm coil with an operating frequency of 15 kHz. Power for the electronics is supplied by two AA R6 batteries.
