Replica design
Metal body complemented by plastic parts, including the pistol grip. The moving mechanism allows the bolt to be cocked and the trigger to be pulled. The magazine is removable and serves a decorative purpose only. The adjustable sling is made of leather.
Historical original
MP40 was a German submachine gun of the Second World War, developed as a modification of the earlier MP38 model. The historical weapon used 9 mm Parabellum cartridges in 32-round box magazines and featured a folding shoulder stock. It was used mainly by German non-commissioned officers and officers, and was later partially replaced by the Sturmgewehr 44.
