Every manufacturer has a "flagship" product - and in the case of the Man Kung company, it is the Thorns series of compound bows.
The key feature of these bows is their variable draw weight ranging from 30-70 lbs. No bow press is required to change the force - just loosen or tighten the two massive bolts connecting the lightweight aluminum center and fiberglass arms. When fully cocked, the draw weight is reduced by up to 75%. The draw length is also adjustable, from 48.3 to 78.7 cm (19-31").
At maximum power, the bow can fire an arrow at velocities up to 91 m/s (300 fps). Due to the high performance, the manufacturer recommends shooting only carbon fiber arrows.
This model is designed for right-handed shooters ages 18 and above.
The package includes pretty much all the necessary accessories (see below).
