The Swedish company Light My Fire was established in 1995, founded by Michael Odqvist. His first product was the fire starter Maya Sticks, made from pine resin shavings from Mexico and Guatemala. It is eco-friendly and comes from waste from felled trees. Unfortunately, the times were not yet favorable to these products.
Despite the difficult beginnings, Michael eventually managed to break through with the magnesium fire starter Light My Fire Firesteel, inspired by the Swedish army. In combination with Maya Sticks, a fire can be lit in any weather conditions.
With growing success, the LMF portfolio also expanded. In addition to fire starters and tinder, there is also a wide range of camping cookware and cutlery. The now legendary Spork combines a fork, spoon and knife in one, while retaining its colourful and functional design.
With Light My Fire products, you certainly won’t get lost in the wild.
