Come on baby Light My Fire
The Swedish company Light My Fire was founded in 1995 by Michael Odqvist. His first venture was the Maya Sticks firestarter, made from pine resin chips from Mexico and Guatemala. It is eco-friendly and is sourced from the waste of logged trees. Unfortunately, times were not yet favourable to these products.
However despite the difficult beginnings, Michael eventually managed to break through with Light My FireSteel magnesium flint, inspired by the Swedish army. When combined with Maya Sticks, a fire can be started in all weather conditions.
With growing success, the LMF portfolio has also grown. Apart from flints and firestarters, there is also a wide range of camping utensils and cutlery. The now legendary Spork combines a fork, spoon and knife in one while retaining a colourful and functional design.
You won't get lost in the wilderness with Light My Fire products.
