PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Peltor ProTac Shooter are active hearing protectors designed not only for shooters and use at the shooting range. They are also excellent in any other noisy environment where you do not want to be disturbed by unwanted sounds.
The earmuffs are equipped with microphones that filter noise down to a safe level of 82 dB. Once this threshold is exceeded, they switch off, so nothing reaches your ears. On the other hand, advanced electronics ensure very clear and distinct hearing of ambient sounds and commands. A major advantage is the option of adjusting the volume of heard sounds and speech to suit the specific situation. Control is via 3 large buttons.
Thanks to the presence of an audio input (3.5 mm jack), you can pair the hearing protectors with an external device such as a smartphone, MP3 player or PMR radios.
The design consists of a profiled headband that distributes pressure evenly on the head and ear cups with soft replaceable cushions, so you can wear the hearing protectors for a long time without any unpleasant feeling of discomfort.
Power is supplied by two AA batteries, which provide up to 100 hours of continuous operation.
