The lanyard hole in the handle also helps with this.
The blade and handle are made of stainless steel. In addition to the blackened engraving, the blade features a Clip point profile, which is common on Bowie knives. Safe closing of the knife is ensured by a metal Frame Lock safety located under the blade. Opening the knife is made easier by the ambidextrous thumb stud on the blade. The knife is supplied with a nylon sheath with a belt loop, so you will always have it at hand.
