The knife is very popular in the armed forces because it is reliable, simple and functional. The Full Tang blade of the "American Tanto" profile is made mainly for cutting purposes and will stay sharp for a long time. The material used is AUS 8A stainless steel.
The Kray-Ex™ handle material is a patented version of Kraton G. The Kray-Ex™ handle provides a good grip, light weight and eliminates the risk of knife slippage. It can withstand extreme temperature fluctuations and rough handling.
