PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Machine translated

Benchmade 940-1 Osborne is a popular knife for everyday carry (EDC), featuring a blade made of CPM-90V powder steel and carbon scales. However, the most interesting thing about it is that it was designed by Warren Osborne himself. Users appreciate its light and functional construction and high-quality materials, which make it exceptionally reliable.

Its satin-finished blade has a length of 86 mm and is made from American stainless steel CPM-90V hardened to a hardness of 59–61 HRC, which offers high sharpness, mechanical resistance and copes well with corrosion. Thanks to the high vanadium carbide content, it is also highly resistant to impact and wear. Along the entire length of the blade runs a plain edge with a thickness of 3 mm.

Thanks to the wide blade with a reverse tanto tip, the knife has ideal cutting and penetrating properties, making it a highly versatile tool for a wide range of tasks.

The blade can be deployed one-handed using the dual thumb stud. In the open position, the blade is secured by the ambidextrous Axis Lock mechanism.

The ergonomic handle consists of two carbon scales, with a lanyard hole and a clip on the surface, allowing the knife to be carried on a pocket or belt.

How to choose a machete

Machetes are perfect tools for literally any job, where a regular knife doesn't do the trick. Thanks to their dimensions, they can also take the role of a proper axe. So whether you are an avid gardener, embark on exciting expeditions or just want to have a solid piece of iron (or rather high-quality steel) nearby, a machete is definitely a must-have in your kit.
