The 580 Mini Barrage model represents the blue class of folding knives. Its blade with a drop point tip and flat grind is made from stainless steel 154CM hardened to a hardness of 58–61 HRC. The blade length is 74 mm and the thickness is 3 mm. On the surface of the blade you cannot miss the ambidextrous thumb stud, which offers an easy way to deploy it.
In the open position, the blade is secured by an improved axis lock equipped with a spring to achieve faster deployment (assisted opening). In the closed position, the blade can be locked with a sliding safety, thus preventing accidental opening.
A secure grip is provided by a handle consisting of two scales made of Valox thermoplastic resin, additionally reinforced with steel liners. Thanks to the ergonomic finger grooves, working with the knife is safe and stable. For easier carry and the option of attaching the knife, it is fitted with a reversible clip.
