Reliability and accuracy are inherent to all models from the originally Russian brand Kalibrgun. Production takes place on state-of-the-art CNC machines in the Czech Republic.
At first glance it is clear that this is a classic bullpup design, where the action together with the charging lever is placed all the way at the rear. This does result in somewhat more awkward loading, but it is more than compensated by the 450 mm barrel from Česká Zbrojovka. Thanks to this design it was possible to maintain a compact overall length of 680 mm and a pleasantly balanced weight of 3.1 kg even with the long barrel.
Cricket Standart has a beautiful WST-type walnut stock made from a single piece of wood. It has massive cut-outs to reduce weight and an ergonomic pistol grip with a steep angle, finished with a comfortable rubber buttpad. An external cheekpiece can also be purchased for the stock.
The air cylinder holds 280 cc of air at a maximum filling pressure of 300 bar. The current pressure in the cylinder can be read on a clear pressure gauge. Filling is carried out using a filling pin (quickfill), which is inserted into the front part of the cylinder. The filling port is fitted with a cover. The pin has a standard thread, so there is no need to buy any additional quick coupler.
As standard, there is a 22mm Weaver rail for mounting any optics. The manual safety is placed in a very unconventional position above the trigger and has a unique shape. The package includes two metal 14-shot magazines. They are very simple and guarantee reliable operation without jamming.
