It is a combination of a classic long gun and the already well-known bullpup. The advantage of this hybrid is its still compact size and a usable classic wooden cheekpiece, which was missing on the Cricket model.
The stock is made of quality wood, just like the other models from this manufacturer. The stock is cut symmetrically and is therefore suitable for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. The entire mass of wood is finished with a rubber butt pad, which is adjustable in the vertical direction. The trigger is concealed under a wooden trigger guard. In this area there is also a manual safety against accidental discharge.
The rifle has a large air capacity of 250cm3. Filling is the same as with previous models, using a quickfill adapter. Behind the filling port there is only the pressure gauge of the gun. The working pressure of the rifle is 300 Bar. Česká Zbrojovka supplies a 450mm long barrel for this model, which has twelve grooves. The entire barrel is hidden under a sound moderator. Since the MiniCarabina does not have classic iron sights, the manufacturer has used a standard 22mm Weaver rail, which is 150mm long.
The loading mechanism is the same as on previous models, so the magazines can be changed as desired. On the right side there is a selector lever that can be moved to three positions: 1) for removing the magazine 2) manual rotation of the magazine 3) automatic rotation of the magazine.
Our experience: A unique opportunity to combine a short bullpup rifle with a classic model. We appreciate the classic wooden cheekpiece, which the customer does not have to pay extra for. The stock fits well in the hand.
