An aqueous solution of modified silicon nanoparticles forms a thin protective layer on the fabric's surface, reducing dirt adhesion and staining. At the same time, it maintains the material's breathability. The treatment is colourless, odourless and non-flammable.
The waterproofing treatment is also suitable for Gore-Tex, Climatic and Gelanots membrane garments. It can be used on overalls, work gloves, forestry clothing, firefighter, military and police uniforms, medical and laboratory coats, and chefs' aprons.
Protection against water and dirt lasts up to 3 months, depending on how heavily the garment is worn. The waterproofing layer withstands up to 10 wash cycles using water only or up to 5 cycles with washing powder. The nanoparticles' function is restored after drying.
Shake thoroughly before use and apply an even, continuous layer to clean, dry clothing from a distance of 10 to 20 cm. Leave the treated garment to dry for 24 hours in a ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
Consumption is 25 to 100 ml per 1 m², depending on the material's absorbency. Store the treatment at a temperature of 3 to 30 °C and protect it from freezing.
