For example, its aluminium construction is able to withstand the recoil of firearms up to 1000g/0.4ms, thanks to the IP67 protection rating you do not have to worry about dust or rain, and all components operate reliably in a temperature range from -30°C to 55°C.
This model is equipped with a 384x288px thermal sensor core with exceptionally high thermal sensitivity of NETD <=15mK (the lower the value, the higher the sensitivity). In combination with the 50mm lens with variable magnification you can detect a target at a distance of up to 2600 metres. The resulting image is displayed on a 2560x2560px OLED display and you can switch between 6 colour palettes (Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome, Green Monochrome). In addition, the third generation Stellar is equipped with the improved Image Pro 2.0 algorithm, which removes unwanted noise while enhancing even the smallest details.
The version designated L is additionally equipped with a precise laser rangefinder with a deviation of only 1 metre and a maximum measurable distance of 1000 metres. After entering the current data (ambient temperature, altitude, parameters of the ammunition used and more), the ballistic calculator shifts the reticle to the estimated point of impact.
The power supply consists of two built-in batteries and one replaceable 18650 battery. This results in up to 9 hours of continuous operation, which can be further extended by activating the sleep mode. The supplied USB-C cable is used to charge the integrated batteries, while the supplied charger must be used to charge the replaceable batteries.
Video recording with sound can be stored on the built-in 64GB storage or streamed directly to the mobile Hikmicro Sight app. You can also use it to control the riflescope and to zero it. Of course, there is also the “Recoil-activation Recording” function – which starts recording several seconds before the shot is fired.
