The cornerstone of the H2 optical system is the set of roof prisms (Roof), whose shape has made it possible to achieve very compact overall dimensions. An equally important element of the optical system is the BAK4 optical glass, valued for its minimal light scattering, which in turn ensures a bright and sharp image across the entire field of view. The closest focusing distance is 2.5 m. A major advantage is the wide field of view of 122/1000 m.
The internal components are protected by a durable yet lightweight polycarbonate body, whose outer surface is covered with a rubber layer. The precise construction ensures water resistance and fog resistance.
