Humidity and sudden temperature changes do not affect its functionality, as it is waterproof and features a tube filled with dry nitrogen – so it will never fog up. The eyepieces are equipped with extendable Twist-up eyecups to allow adjustment of the optimal distance between the pupil and the lens. Dioptre correction adjustment is located on the right eyepiece.
The entire optical system is anti-reflective to achieve better light transmission and overall image quality. The resulting image can be magnified up to 12x and focused from as close as 2.5 metres.
Along with the binoculars, Hawke supplies a special cleaning cloth, a drawstring pouch and a practical case to which a padded strap can be attached. The lenses are protected during transport by the included rubber caps.
