Striker 1000S is a break barrel air rifle with a Vortex piston from the Turkish manufacturer Hatsan. This model is in calibre 4.5 mm and has a polymer stock with rubberised areas on the fore-end and grip for a comfortable hold. At the end of the stock you will also find a rubber butt pad to make shooting more pleasant.
The Vortex piston replaces the standard spring and is basically a gas-charged piston (in this case filled with air). This system eliminates the typical recoil and noise of spring-powered air rifles. This allows you to shoot much more steadily.
The metal trigger is adjustable and you can fine-tune the trigger pull weight and travel. The automatic safety is activated when the air rifle is cocked. It is easily accessible and can be reached with the thumb of your shooting hand. To disengage it, simply push it forward.
The barrel is rifled and has a polymer cover at the muzzle, which you can grab to cock the barrel easily. Precise aiming is ensured by TruGlo sights (red front sight and green rear sight). For mounting a riflescope you can use the 11 mm dovetail rail.
