Hatsan AirTact PD Vortex is a break-barrel air rifle in calibre 4.5 mm. Instead of a spring it uses the Vortex system, a gas-pressurised piston. This has made it possible to eliminate recoil and noise that would otherwise be caused by the spring. The air rifle also achieves a more stable performance.
At first glance you will notice its ergonomically shaped polymer stock in black with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece. At the end of the stock you will find a rubber butt pad to absorb recoil.
The rifled barrel is 420 mm long and has a polymer cover at the muzzle, which you can grab to cock the barrel easily. The automatic safety is activated when the air rifle is cocked. It is easily accessible and you can reach it with your thumb. To disengage it, simply push it forward.
The trigger is adjustable and you can set its pull weight and travel.
TruGlo sights with fibre optics are very easy to read even in reduced visibility (red front sight and green rear sight). The rear sight is also adjustable. To mount a riflescope, you can use the 11 mm / 22 mm mounting rail.
