Haendler & Natermann is one of the traditional German manufacturers of airgun ammunition. The H&N brand has long been associated with accuracy, high-quality workmanship and good value for money, making it a popular choice among both recreational and more experienced shooters.
Precision Slug with hollow point
H&N Precision Slug are lead slugs for high-power airguns, designed for precision shooting at long distances. Compared to classic pellets they have a shape close to a bullet, which gives them a high ballistic coefficient, they retain velocity better and are less sensitive to crosswind.
An important element is the optimised ogival shape combined with a deeper hollow point. This design helps to increase the ballistic coefficient (B.C.) and shift the centre of gravity to a suitable position for stable flight and a flatter trajectory. Precision Slug therefore makes sense for shooters who want to get high accuracy and consistent performance from a powerful PCP air rifle even at longer ranges.
The slugs are suitable only for airguns with barrels designed for this type of ammunition, typically with a non-choked barrel. A choked barrel, which is beneficial for classic pellets, narrows towards the muzzle and may not be suitable for solid slugs.
