Cold bluing of firearms is mainly used for minor touch-ups of surface defects on the blued finish. An excellent example is Ballistol bluing, which is easily applied using a dropper. For more extensive repairs, Tetra Gun Liquid Blue is a better choice; it can even be used for complete bluing of a firearm. Before you start, don’t forget to degrease the gun.
