The filtration bottle Grayl UltraPress is a compact and easy-to-maintain tool for removing bacteria and parasites from water. It will definitely prove its worth on longer trips in remote areas where we cannot rely on verified drinking water sources. Thanks to it, we can safely quench our thirst with water from a river, stream, or lake.

The small dimensions allow the bottle to be carried in a standard bottle pocket. An undeniable advantage is that the cleaning process itself does not require the use of special disinfectants or any special preparation and does not take longer than 10 seconds.

Before starting filtration, it is necessary to remove the inner reservoir. Then fill the outer tube with water up to the marked line, take the empty inner reservoir in the other hand and press it into the tube. As you press, the water from the outer tube passes through the filter located at the bottom of the reservoir directly into its interior.

The filter cartridge uses a clever combination of activated carbon powder that absorbs chemical and organic substances and electrostatic absorption capable of capturing micro particles down to virus size. The manufacturer states that the cartridge has a service life of 300 cycles, which is around 150 litres.

The entire construction is made of high‑quality polymer and the grip areas are covered with textured rubber. Thanks to its high durability, the bottle can withstand a drop from 3 metres onto concrete. The total capacity of the reservoir is 450 ml.
