GPS tracker Dogtrace DOG GPS X30 is an ideal helper for every dog handler who likes to give their furry friend a bit of freedom in nature. With this GPS tracker, you can find your dog even at a distance of 20 km. It is most useful especially for hunting dogs, which are trained from puppyhood to drive game. The biggest problem in this respect are roe deer, which let themselves be chased by the dog and always wait for it until it almost catches up with them. They choose this tactic precisely to protect the rest of the herd from the dog. A roe deer can drag your dog several kilometres away. After that, it will be very difficult for you to find the dog.

DOG GPS X30 is an improved version of the X20 tracker. Compared to it, you have much wider options. You can connect the tracker to your smartphone and display the paired devices directly on online and offline maps. At the same time, you can track up to 13 dogs, dog handlers or waypoints. A waypoint is a place on the map to which you can guide your dog using various stimuli. Unlike its predecessor, DOG GPS X30 can emit a sound signal with 2 levels, record the route of all devices and indicate the dog’s barking together with its position.

The device consists of a receiver and a small, lightweight transmitter with a collar. On the receiver you can see both the distance between you and the dog and the correct direction. You can set the sound volume and vibrations. The transmitter obtains its position from GPS satellites. Using a radio frequency signal (RF), it processes the information about the dog’s position and then sends the data to the receiver. On the display you can also monitor the strength of the RF signal, the accuracy of the GPS and the battery status of both the transmitter and the receiver.

DOG GPS X30 also boasts functions such as Fence and Beeper. Fence represents an adjustable distance limit between the receiver and the transmitter. When your dog crosses it, the receiver beeps. Thanks to this function, you know that your dog is moving away from you more than it should and you can call it back. The Beeper function then tells you whether your dog is standing still or running.

The receiver is orange. The transmitter and receiver are made of high-quality materials. A major advantage is their water resistance and the long battery life – more than 40 hours. A power adapter with USB cable and charging clip for GPS are included in the package. Unlike competing collars where you pay a flat fee for usage, purchasing the Dogtrace GPS is a one-off investment only. You do not pay any additional money for signal registration.

GPS X30 displays only a compass on the receiver. Maps can only be displayed on a paired smartphone. The receiver shows the exact distance and direction of the dog from the handler. All parts of the DOG GPS X30 device, such as the receiver, RF antenna, another collar with transmitter, RF antenna for the collar or power adapter with USB cable and charging clip for GPS, can be purchased separately. The receiver is also backward compatible with X20 collars. However, not all functions will be available on them.
