This is the smallest member of the Impact model series. The overall length is only 635 mm, but thanks to the bullpup design the manufacturer managed to equip the rifle with a 500mm Smooth Twist X barrel. Length is therefore no handicap and the Compact maintains the same accuracy as its larger relatives. At the muzzle you will find a 1/2 UNF thread for a sound moderator.
Just like other FX air rifles, the Impact Compact boasts excellent cocking, which is easily accessible and runs smoothly. Shooting will be real fun for you, and fortunately the 28‑shot magazine offers more than enough capacity and lets you fully enjoy shooting without constant reloading.
The carbon air cylinder may look tiny, but it holds an incredible 300 cm3 of air, with an operating pressure of 250 bar. An absolute novelty is the so‑called Power Plenum. Simply put, it is a system that allows you to achieve better performance and shot consistency while keeping the regulator set to a lower pressure. This is also related to the higher shot count per fill of the cylinder. The pressure regulator can be adjusted using a screw in the trigger guard area.
Sport trigger is adjustable and ranks among the best we have tried so far. The manual safety is located on the right side of the action, just above the trigger. For greater comfort, the manufacturer has fitted the stock with a pleasant rubber butt pad, which is adjustable. The rifle’s modular design allows mounting a wide range of accessories using a total of three 22mm weaver rails. We must also praise the quality of workmanship and the reliability of the magazine. Its only plastic part is the transparent cover, which you rotate while loading.
